Our Story

It started with a frustration.

Antonio Smith founded TonyAstro in 2022 after years of watching the same thing play out. The places people could actually afford kept getting worse, and the places worth living in kept drifting further out of reach.

So he set out to build the alternative. The first community went up in Norman, Oklahoma, housing for college students who deserve somewhere decent to come home to. It set the standard for everything we have done since.

Today TonyAstro is a Delaware company built to grow across more than one market. But the reason behind it has not changed at all. Good housing, done honestly, for the people who need it most.

Our Approach

Affordable was never supposed to mean lesser.

For too long the housing world has treated affordability like a tradeoff, something you accept when you cannot do better. We never believed that. Every TonyAstro community begins with one question. What would this look like if we refused to cut the corners that actually matter? The answer tends to look pretty good.
